Chapter 1 - How can you contact me if needed?
If you have a question that is not answered in the FAQ
(FAQ is short for Frequently Asked Questions) you can ask me. Before you ask,
please check the FAQ carefully if the question
you are looking for is not phrased differently, or if a related question
answers yours as well.
Questions about how to get Supaplex working will generally not be answered
as this is covered in the FAQ (first question) to the
extent of my knowledge already!
If you have a problem with Supaplex, please include as many details about
the problem as possible. Without details, a million things could have gone
wrong, and I will not be able to tell you how you can solve your problem.
The more information you can give me, the better. It will make it
easier to find the problem and a solution for it. Some of the details you
should include are (not limited to):
- The operating system you are using (e.g. DOS, Windows 95, 98, NT, etc.)
- The EXACT error message you received (if any), including error
number.
- The EXACT things you did that caused the problem (mouse clicks,
key presses, what appeared on screen each time you did anything. Waiting
periods, etc. etc.
- Please be EXACT in what you send to me, since as much as a
single wrong keypress or character in a filename can lead to a whole
different conclusion about the problem.
If you think other things might be relevant, please just include them.
Please note that I can read and write in either Dutch or English.
Other languages will be a problem, and you will simply not get an answer.
